AGRAVIS Technik is discontinuing the active distribution of FarmDroid products as part of a strategic realignment of its technology portfolio. FarmDroid takes over service and support for FarmDroid owners in the area. Both companies have planned the handover together, and the customers concerned were informed directly before this announcement.

Germany is one of FarmDroid’s largest markets. That does not change. We are building the setup that carries service and support in the area from the 2027 season, and German customers stay close to the centre of how we plan the next years.

“When AGRAVIS came on board, the FD20 was already working on German farms. What they did was widen the reach. They know German agriculture, they got the robot in front of far more farmers than we could have on our own, and they have looked after those customers properly, season after season. We are grateful for that, and we part on good terms,” says Eddie Bolding Pedersen, Head of Sales & Marketing at FarmDroid and continues “Germany matters to us. Our customers there will not notice a drop in service.

“We look back on a positive and collaborative partnership with FarmDroid. The FD20 has established itself as a specialised solution that can be highly suitable for selected farming operations and specific applications. Our practical experience has shown that, when properly set up and matched to the right use case, the system can deliver convincing results for farmers. The decision to end our collaboration is a strategic one relating to the development of our own portfolio. We would like to thank FarmDroid for the cooperation and wish the company, as well as all FarmDroid users, continued success in the future,” says Sebastian Henrichmann, Abteilungsleiter Robotik, AGRAVIS Technik Center GmbH

FarmDroid will share the details of the 2027 setup with customers later this year. Questions regarding this matter can be directed at FarmDroid support on +45 88 63 87 70.
