FarmDroid FD20 began its journey with a primary focus on seeding and weeding sugar beets. Yet, our vision was always grander. We believe that precision farming is the future for a wide range of crops, and our commitment has driven us to constantly evolve and adapt. In close partnership with our valued customers and dedicated distributors, we’ve expanded the FarmDroid’s capabilities beyond its initial design. The results speak for themselves. From our initial focus on sugar beets to the wide array of crops today, FarmDroid confidently ensures precision in both seeding and weeding.

We receive many requests from our customers to test whether their different seeds can be used in the robot’s unique sowing system. For this reason, we have developed our own seed test lab. Here, we test the seed examples we receive from our customers. We test different seed specifications, such as whether the seeds should be sown in clusters, lines, or singles. These results then influence parameters such as seeds per group, group distance, row distance, and so forth. If you would like to learn whether FarmDroid can handle a specific crop not listed here, feel free to contact us.
