Meet Odin: a new AI assistant in the FarmDroid app and web platform

FarmDroid app being used on the field

Published: 26. March 2026

FarmDroid app now includes a built-in AI assistant designed to make it easier to get answers when you need them. The assistant, named Odin, is available directly in both the FarmDroid app and the web app and is trained on FarmDroid’s own documentation for the FD20 product range.

If you have a question about setup, operation, or daily use, Odin is a good place to start.

Built on FarmDroid knowledge

Odin does not search the internet or generate generic advice. Instead, it works from FarmDroid’s existing material, including:

  • Product manuals
  • The FarmDroid knowledge base
  • Internal documentation related to FD20 operation and service

This means the answers are based on the same information used by FarmDroid support and product teams. The goal is simple: faster access to relevant, consistent information without having to search through PDFs or support articles.

Available where you already work

For farmers, Odin is available directly inside the FarmDroid app and via the web platform. You can ask questions in plain language and get answers related to your specific product and situation. The assistant supports multiple relevant languages, making it easier to use for international customers.

For distributors and internal teams, separate versions of the assistant provide access to more detailed technical information. These are available through the same platform and are tailored to different roles, without mixing customer-level guidance and deeper technical content.

A first step before contacting support

Odin is not meant to replace FarmDroid support. Instead, it acts as a first stop for common questions and known issues. Many problems can be resolved quickly when the right information is easy to find. When something falls outside the assistant’s scope, regular support channels remain available.

Over time, the assistant improves as new knowledge is added. Service reports and resolved cases can be fed back into the knowledge base, so future users can benefit from what has already been learned.

Designed to improve over time

The AI assistant is part of a broader platform that allows FarmDroid to maintain and expand its knowledge base in a structured way. New documentation, updates from service cases, and product changes can be added continuously, keeping the answers up to date.

FarmDroid is also testing additional features, including a voice-based assistant prototype. This work is still in an early phase and focused on evaluating whether voice interaction makes sense in real farm environments.

Try Odin out

Odin is available now in both the FarmDroid app and the web app. If you have a question about your FD20, try asking Odin first. It’s a faster way to get answers, and it helps ensure that the information you receive is based on official FarmDroid material.

As always, feedback is welcome. The assistant is built to evolve, and real questions from real users are what shape it next.
