What is Agrirouter?
Agrirouter is a data exchange platform developed for the agricultural industry. In simple terms, it allows different agricultural machines, farm management systems, and software tools to communicate with each other securely.
How does Agrirouter work?
Agrirouter doesn’t store data; it simply transfers it between compatible systems based on farmers’ preferences.
For example, farmers can choose to send seeding and weeding data from their FarmDroid directly to their farm management software. Once connected, the data flows automatically.
What does this certification mean for FarmDroid customers?
Farmers can now easily move operational data from their FarmDroid to their farm management systems via Agrirouter. This includes details such as operating hours, efficiency, and areas seeded, weeded, or sprayed.
This helps farmers:
- Track costs and performance across their equipment, from FarmDroid to tractor and plough
- Calculate costs per hectare and analyze profitability based on real operational data
- Get a full overview of how each part of their system contributes to the total farm costs
